The #PDIC leads the 24th Depositor Protection and Awareness Week (DPAW) from 16 to 22 June 2026. With the theme “Kapag sa bangko may ipon, handa anumang panahon”, this year’s celebration highlights the value of saving in banks in fostering financial security, enabling Filipinos to better manage unexpected challenges and build readiness for future goals. Mandated by Presidential Proclamation No. 358 issued in 2003, DPAW is observed annually to support financial stability and economic growth.
